Outline of instrument plan for Jan-Jun, 2008

Mack has been cold tested with new hand and new valves and Roman Flush run to check tubing.

Temp calibration Jan 29-Feb 11.

Science gets MACK Feb 11 and will prep reagents, generate mission script, run sub-protocol tests 

  1. One month cold test of Mack w/ his new valves/hand starting Feb 19 (this is earliest possible day).
    1. OBJECTIVE:  get through a full carousel of pucks
    2. test should last most of 4 weeks (although 3 weeks would be acceptable)
  2. March 11 is earliest we pull and deem a success.  Once pulled, we replace with Bruce for box test.
      1. Once Mack into box testing, we schedule ship dates.
  3. Prep for Spring deployments (Mar 14 -->Mar 19)  These dates may slip.
  4. Deploy MACK (March 20-Shana Rae)
    1. Recover MACK Apr 10, Deploy BRUCE -- Shana Rae
  5.  Recover BRUCE, Deploy MACK (May 1 -- Zephyr)
  6. Recover BRUCE (May 27), Deploy both MACK and NEO (May 28 -- Zephyr)
  7. End mission Jun 30.
